If you are a fan of  "Golden Oldies" music from the 1960's & 70's, then you need no introduction to the Righteous Brothers.

The Righteous Brothers were the musical duo of Bill Medley and Bobby Hatfield. They recorded from 1963 through 1975.  Hatfield and Medley reunited in 1981 and continued to perform until Hatfield's death in 2003.  Their emotive vocal stylings were sometimes dubbed "blue-eyed soul."

They gained their name when an African-American Marine shouted out "That was righteous, brothers" at the end of a show.

They had their first major hit with the 1964 song "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'", often considered one of their finest works. Other notable hits include "Ebb Tide", "Soul and Inspiration", "Rock and Roll Heaven", and in particular, their version of "Unchained Melody".

In 2016, Medley re-formed The Righteous Brothers with Bucky Heard and they continue to perform as a duo.
